Mivu is a private food diary for iPhone. Your meals stay on your phone, and Pip helps only when you ask.

What Mivu keeps for you

Every entry records what you said, what Pip estimated and anything you changed. Estimates say they are estimates.

Made to fit your day

Set the target that fits you.

Setup suggests a daily target from your height, weight and goal. It never goes below a safe floor, and you can change it any time.

2,000 kcal

Fix a portion in one tap.

Pip guessed two eggs? It was three. Change the amount and every total follows, in Coach or by hand.

2 eggs

Your day ends when you sleep.

A late dinner belongs to today, not tomorrow. Pick when your day ends and Mivu greets you with a short check-in in the morning.

Easy on the eyes at night.

Mivu follows your iPhone's appearance, with larger text and reduced motion respected throughout.

Why Mivu exists

I built Mivu because every food diary I tried wanted an account before it would let me write down breakfast.

Mivu keeps your diary on your iPhone. There is no Mivu server holding your meals, and no account to make.

When you want help, Mivu uses the ChatGPT plan you already have. You choose that, you see what is shared first, and you can disconnect at any time.

The numbers are estimates, and Mivu says so. When Pip is unsure, the entry says that too, and you can fix it in a tap.

I hope it makes the dull part of eating well a little lighter.

Questions

  • No. Mivu works without any account. Logging, history, progress, backup and export all work on their own.

  • Only for meal analysis and Coach. You connect your own ChatGPT account, and usage counts against your own plan.

  • On your iPhone. Backups go only to a folder you pick, such as iCloud Drive, and only when you ask.

  • Only what you send for analysis: the meal photo or words, your Coach message and the profile details the answer needs. Mivu shows this and asks before you connect.

  • They are estimates to help you see trends, not medical advice. Mivu marks uncertain entries and lets you correct any amount.

  • No. Mivu has no ads, no tracking and no in-app purchases.

  • Yes. Keep a backup folder or export your diary in Settings › Backup & export, then restore it on the new phone.

  • Anyone 13 or older with an iPhone running iOS 26 who wants a calm, private way to keep track of what they eat.
